Autism Professionals to Help Parents of Autistic Children

The Relate to Autism website contains THREE groups of individuals trained to help parents and professionals in their needs for autistic child development. The groups they have are:

Autism Professionals – Trained in programs such as The Son-Rise Program, Floortime, RDI, and Occupational Therapy.

Well-Being Coaches – Coaches who provide Attitudinal Coaching sessions to help parents and professionals break through what may be holding them back from a full experience with their special needs children.

Parent Guides – Their parent guides are experienced in running their own-based programs for children. They can help provide guidance in areas such as volunteers, fund-raising, and information on creating a playroom.

This is a book of 200 games from The Autism Treatment Center of America. Created by a Son-Rise Teacher and a Son-Rise Program Child Facilitator. The games in the book follow their Five Stages of the Developmental Model.

The Start-Up Program

This is the beginning course for The Son-Rise Program at The Autism Treatment Center of America.

What is this program?
It is a five day program held in Sheffield,Mass (the location of The Autism Treatment Center of America)

Who is it for?
It is for parents and caregivers of children with Autism.

What does it teach?
It teaches parents and caregivers how to help children who have Autism. The program is taught by professionals trained in The Son-Rise Program. Once you complete the program you will be enabled to start you own home-based Son-Rise Program.

Note: The program is only attended by parents, caregivers and professionals. The children do not attend this starter program. Advanced course called the Intensive Program involves the child and direct interaction, training and guidance from The Son-Rise Program professionals.
