Passive Aggressive Personality Disorder
Also called negativistic disorder. With this disorder a child will respond in a passive manor when asked to do things which in turn results in anger and aggression in the child when things are expected. For example – a child will be asked to clean there room by the weekend and they will comply but procrastinate so that the deadline is not met in hopes they will not be asked to do the task again. Treatment is difficult as the child will resist assistance. Thought to be inherited as well as environmentally caused.
